Craftwerk Needle Felting Kits
Based in the village of Trefriw in Snowdonia National Park, Heather O’Leary designs and creates remarkably realistic animal needle felting kits based on her own sculptural work. Because they are created using undyed British wool, the end products are truly organic and reflective of nature. Wools from the many and various breeds of sheep native to the UK are far more suitable for sculptural needle felting than the more frequently used Merino wool. To that end, the aim of Craftwerk kits is to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and rich heritage of what is on our own doorstep. In essence, Craftwerk products aim to breathe new life into our woollen industry by highlighting a very contemporary use for British wool.
The Mouse Loft cross-stitch kits
The Mouse Loft is a small family run company that have been designing and making their own pocket-money kits since 1996 in Cheshire. They describe themselves as the specialists in small counted cross-stitch kits.
